You’re close enough to walk to the main square in about ten minutes, but far enough away that you won’t hear drunk groups stumbling back from the bars at 2 AM. I mean, Cluj’s old town can get pretty lively on weekends. The neighborhood has that authentic Romanian residential feel, with local cafés and small shops that most visitors never discover.

The Space Itself

The room setup really works well — it’s more like having your own temporary Cluj home than staying in a typical hotel. The kitchen is actually functional (not just for show), which saved me quite a bit of money since Romanian groceries are incredibly affordable. Everything feels clean and modern, but not in that sterile way some places go for. There’s decent natural light, and honestly, after a day of exploring the city’s hills, having space to spread out made all the difference.

What Makes It Special

The 9.1 rating makes sense once you’ve stayed here — it’s those small touches that add up. The WiFi actually works properly (crucial if you’re working remotely), and there’s reliable hot water, which isn’t always guaranteed in older Cluj buildings. Parking can be sorted if you’re driving, though I’d recommend exploring the city on foot anyway. The host clearly knows what travelers need without overdoing it with unnecessary extras.

But if you’re the type who appreciates having your own space in a city that’s still discovering itself as a travel destination, Saturn Central Apartment delivers exactly what it promises. Cluj-Napoca is becoming quite the hotspot for both tourists and digital nomads, and this place gives you a genuine feel for living here rather than just passing through. The value is solid, especially considering how much you’d pay for similar space in Western Europe.

  Everything! It’s in the middle of the city, restaurants, bars everywhere. I am a student, i wasy studying there, it’s a chill, cosy place with everything I needed. The bed was so comfortable, also I had a table for study.

  I enjoyed tarrace in the morning and location. Even thou it is pedestrian area i didnt had problems with loud crowd or music. Plenty of opportunities for walking, museums are very near like 100m or less.
  Even if i have some comments in "i dont like" section i would recommend this place and consider returning to it next time visiting Cluj.
  
  What could be improved: The mattress on the bed is a little hard for my taste, it didn't quite fit my taste but hey, we are all different. 😉
  If someone would want to prepare food in apartment it might experience lack in some items like, one pot available, pan that was probably damaged before burnt all over, reconsider maybe replacing it. On other hand restaurants are very close so you might not need it.
